2 Sep 2016 - What topics are clinically important to you?  Let us know what clinical questions (within the scope of our group) you would like to see answered.  We're collecting suggestions until November 15th via a webform.

12 July 2016 - A Cochrane author with experience of reviews of Diagnostic Test Accuracy is sought to join a review team undertaking a review of clinical feeding examination with cervical auscultation for detecting oropharyngeal aspiration in children.  Further details are available through Cochrane's Task Exchange.

29 Mar 2016 - A Podcast is available for the review titled Enhanced recovery protocols for major uppper gastrointestinal, liver and pancreatic surgery.

8 Mar 2016 - Registration is open for a 3 day workshop on systematic reviewing in Hamilton, Canada in July 2016. 

5 Nov 2015 - Can you read a language other than English? If so, you can contribute to Cochrane with just a few minutes of your time.  Our group, and others, often need help confirming if papers are RCTs and whether they meet inclusion criteria for a review.  These are short (<5 minute) jobs which are a great help to review teams.  If you can help, check out the list of jobs on Cochrane's task Exchange.

17 Sep 2015 -Cochrane is beta testing a new way of getting involved, through a service called "Task Exchange", which is similar to a classified ad for reviews, with authors posting requests for help with any aspect of review production. Please have a look at http://taskexchange.cochrane.org/ for details of potential opportunities, or if you are an existing Cochrane author, to post your opportunity!

6 Feb 2015 - New review of Diagnostic accuracy of EUS for the preoperative locoregional staging of primary gastric cancer published.

13 Jan 2015 - We've partnered with a literature alerting service (MacPLUS). Review authors with our group should be receiving an email this month welcoming them to this free and optional service aimed at identifying high-quality, relevant studies for their reviews.

27 Nov 2014 - Are you using the latest version of RevMan?  RevMan 5.3.5 was released this week and all users are enouraged to update.  It's fairly painless and easy....just download the latest version.
